giving new life to old wool clothing

Duffy Totes

No matter how you use them, these sturdy totes are the perfect size for hauling your stuff to the office or home from the market. By reusing the wool fabrics we find in suit jackets and blankets, we can create a classic tote that can go anywhere. Please check the catalog to view all of our tote bags.

Zip Cases

We’ve taken organization to a new level. Zip cases range in size from just big enough to hold coins and cords to larger project bags lined with notion pockets. Beautiful sweaters, jackets and blankets make up these bags. Please check the catalog to view all of our zip cases.

Drawstring bags

Life is too short to carry a boring bag. With one quick pull, all of your notions, cosmetics, cords or knitting projects are safely stowed. This easy to carry bag is ideal for taking your stuff from one place to another or just keeping all your projects organized at home. Please check the catalog to view all of our drawstring bags.

jj wool company

In late November 2013, we began sewing mittens from recycled wool sweaters as a fund raiser for a once in a lifetime charity bike ride the following year. We reached our goal and then rode 1800 kms home from Haida Gwaii, BC with a custom carved totem pole, which you can now see at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton. The demand for these mittens and the amount of fun we had creating these little works of art moved us, literally, and after much deliberation, we created the jj wool company!

But we haven’t just stood still… we continue to ride our bikes everywhere and are constantly inspired by the variety of gorgeous wool garments we've found. We've created a whole bunch of new clothing and accessories... from our ‘get your ass outside’ sweater skirts to the smallest of Dumpling pouches.

It is with great joy that we are once again riding in the 2021 CASA charity bike ride this summer. Barring any unforeseen restrictions, we'll be hitting the road on July 11, 2021 for the “Close to Home” Tour. This tour will start and end in Greater Edmonton. From today until July 10, 100% of the proceeds of everything we sell will go straight to our fund raising goal of $10,000. Please watch our instagram and facebook pages for some creative ways that you can help us support the invaluable services CASA provides for children, adolescents and their families with mental health and addictions concerns.
